TV, sick babies, a 5k, horses, and more TV...
It's a special time...
Too sick to nap, but not too sick to jump on my bed!
Saturday, I had the Ribbon Run...you know, that 5k I was going to train for and then didn't. I woke up at 5:30am to get ready and met a group for breakfast before the race. I feel ridiculous calling it a race when I knew I was walking it with friends and had no plans of running. Well, I planned on running the last mile, but I totally missed every mile marker. I turned a corner and saw the finish line up ahead (through a crapton of people) and started running then, so I ran a whole 3 minutes or so until the crowd got so thick that it wasn't possible to run through the finish. I finished in 57:38, burned 383 calories, and got 2 t-shirts out of the deal. I'm good with that.

This is the 3rd year participating in this 5k and I like to compare pictures to see how far I've come since the previous year. I saw a huge change last year. You can find that picture HERE. This year, I'm the same weight as I was last year. Maintaining like a boss! Just kidding. I mean, that would be great if maintenance was my goal, but it wasn't. Oh well...
Sans tutu this year.
Done...it's too damn early to take 100 pictures to get the perfect skinny one. Don't act like you don't do it.
He's not the only one who enjoyed a slice of pizza that day...

Sunday, I went to Grandmother's to hang out with the fam while a tired B and, now two, sickly babies were quarantined at home. B didn't feel like getting out anyway, so it worked out. I went horseback riding after lunch and nearly froze. The temperature was perfect in the sun, but it got a bit chilly when we were under the trees. Oh and I was told that I look like Chelsea Clinton by a guy riding with us. Um.....thanks, yo.
There it is...my thrilling weekend. Did you do anything fun??
